The project<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Design of the new Quality Control and Research & Development laboratories for Alma Petroli Srl, at the production plant in Ravenna.<\/p>\n

The project, developed in collaboration with ATS Faar Industries, involves the creation of highly functional spaces that are fully integrated with industrial operations, with the aim of supporting the company\u2019s manufacturing excellence in the high-quality bitumen sector.<\/p>\n

Project launched in 2024 \u2013 currently underway.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alma Petroli Srl is a leading manufacturer of high-performance bitumen, with a strong focus on quality, innovation and the continuous improvement of production processes.<\/p>\n

The Ravenna plant serves as a strategic hub for production and quality control activities, where analytical precision and operational efficiency are key factors.<\/p>\n

Before the project: the client\u2019s requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Alma Petroli has identified a need to rethink and optimise the spaces dedicated to Quality Control and Research & Development, with clear objectives:<\/p>\n

  • improve the organisation of workflows;<\/li>\n
  • to improve operational efficiency;<\/li>\n
  • to integrate laboratory activities more directly with the production cycle;<\/li>\n
  • to ensure that premises are modern, functional and comply with safety standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The workshop was intended to become a strategic asset supporting production, not merely an isolated technical department.<\/p>\n

    Labs2Life is developing its spatial design using an integrated approach, aimed at ensuring maximum consistency between analytical requirements and the industrial context.<\/p>\n

    The main activities include:<\/p>\n

    • Analysis of quality control processes and R&D activities<\/li>\n
    • Analysis of the functional layout to optimise workflows, workstations and interactions with production<\/li>\n
    • Design of facilities and systems to support analytical activities<\/li>\n
    • Development of technical solutions that ensure safety, efficiency and durability<\/li>\n
    • Coordination with the technical partners involved in the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Particular attention is paid to the ergonomics of the workstations, the optimisation of workflows and the integration of systems \u2013 all of which are essential for ensuring rapid analysis and reliable results.<\/p>\n
